Beyonce Inks $50 Million Deal With Pepsi

Beyonce is a busy bee working hard behind the scenes. If you thought her entering into motherhood would slow down her grind you were sadly mistaken. According to The New York Times Pepsi has embarked on a hybrid project that will include standard advertising like commercials and a multimillion-dollar fund to support Bey‘s chosen creative projects.

Beyonce gave a statement “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

The campaign will coincide with promotion for her next album that is expected for release in 2013. After Bey performs the halftime show for the Superbowl on Feb. 3, which is also sponsored by Pepsi. Beyonce will be in a new TV Ad, the pop stars fifth since 2002 and her face will also be featured on limited edition Pepsi cans.

The $50 million will be used for media placements and promotions worldwide. The remainder split will be go to Beyonce’s fees and Pepsi’s creative content development fund. They are still brainstorming ideas so you never know what else they may come up with.
