Danny Brio & The Band Adonis…

24 Apr

Vince Schofield also known as, Danny Brio released his R&B debut album “SCHIZO,” February 14, 2012. With love songs like “I Could Be,” or up-tempo beats like “Let’s Go,” and inspirational tracks such as “Conqueror” it has been getting really great feedback and reviews. The Melbourne, Floridian is currently a Recording Arts major at Full Sail University. As a singer, arranger, producer, and songwriter Danny Brio is all about giving the people what he feels they really deserve…great music! Danny Brio began singing at the age of 4 and was apart of a group by the age of 7 known as “The Cannion Crew.” He also began singing in the Macedonia Baptist Church Youth Choir where he began to hone his craft and contribute to the growth of his youth choir, which he eventually began to lead. While in middle school Danny Brio joined his school’s band starting with the clarinet and eventually making the switch to the tuba. Eventually, this all lead to him producing his own music. In 2006, he won an award for Best Male Vocalist in Brevard County for his role in the Broadway play “Aida.” I know personally for me his debut album “SCHIZO” is still in heavy rotation on my iPod’s playlist. His recent accomplishments, along side his band “Adonis” who consists of four other musicians, Trey “The Producer” Thomas a drummer, Brandon a pianist, Anthony Campbell a pianist, and Brandon Davis a bassist, all won the Full Sail University’s National Anthem Contest to sing at the Orlando Magic’s game on April 13, 2012. Adonis is a multi-talented band to keep a eye out for and a good ear for their crisp sound. All members individually having very profound talents, obviously all musicians, they each come from a musical background each having something to offer from vocals, arrangements, songwriting, and all produce and attend Full Sail University. These five members all coming from different walks of life met at school and formed Adonis, which has been taking off in the Orlando area and gaining plenty of recognition for their band’s tight sound. Playing as a live house band or for other live local artist’s their passion for music clearly shows and shines through each band member every time they hit a stage. With their constant persistence, dedication, hard work, practice, and growing popularity these five band mates are all bound for success and very bright futures in the music industry. It wouldn’t surprise me much if I heard them playing through my speakers on a radio station in the near future. It’s just a matter of time! They’re already popping up on your TV screens.
